A practitioner-oriented course on how to
Manage Organizations and Professionals
in the Health Care Sector

The AIM Health Care Management Program is the Institute's response to the need for results-oriented management training for top-quality practitioners in the health care sector. The program was started in 2002 as part of the thrust to establish strategic new certificate programs in the areas of management.

The Health Care Management Program is a series of three-day courses focusing on different functional areas of management and its application to managing organizations and professionals in the health care sector.

The program is taught by a faculty team who are experienced and competent in the use of a wide variety of learning methodologies for teaching, mentoring and consulting.

Professor Emmanuel A. Leyco is the Jaime V. Ongpin Professor of Public Finance and Director of AIM's Health Care Management Program. Prof. Leyco was director of the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation's Medicare financing program and a health care credit rating specialist at Standard and Poor's.

He teaches courses in health care finance, health policy and strategic mangement in the health care industry. Prof. Leyco has a Master in Public Administration degree from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government and a Master of Arts in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from De La Salle University.
